U-Space is a collaborative effort between Brad Ranola and Cary Hitsman of Anacapa ʻUkulele, Blues-ʻUkulele artist and educator, Jason Arimoto, Six-time grammy award-winner, Daniel Ho, and the Japanese American Cultural Community Center (JACCC). U-Space is a coffee shop, a music school (with a heavy emphasis on ʻUkulele), and a retail ʻUkulele store all in one location. U-Space is focused on building community through music and ʻUkulele.

Join us on Sunday, February 2, for the first in a unique series of guest workshops hosted at U-Space @ JACCC in Little Tokyo, Downtown L.A. Four-time GRAMMY award winner George Kahumoku, Jr. will teach a Slack Key Guitar workshop at 1:30pm and an ‘Ukulele workshop at 3:00pm with a free mini-concert at 4:45pm. Daniel Ho will be the host of the afternoon and will lead a talk-story Q&A session with Uncle George. Tickets are $30 per workshop or $50 for both. Seating is limited.
